What is in place today

Safety software earns trust by being exact about what it does. This page lists what our products do to protect your records, and what they do not do.

Records kept apart
Each family's and each church's records are kept apart. One customer cannot open another's.
Access by role
What a person can see depends on their role. In Guardian, parents and guardians see everything; other family members see their own profile and what is shared with the whole family.
A record of who did what
Sign-ins, changes and deletions are written down where the people in charge can read them. Nobody in a family can alter Guardian's Account Record.
Location only by agreement
A person's location appears in Guardian only after they agree on their own phone, and they can stop at any time.
Location history is not kept forever
Guardian deletes location history after 90 days.
Card numbers stay with the payment company
Guardian's checkout is run by Base44 Payments. Guardian never sees your card number.
Your records stay yours
Reports come out as PDFs and spreadsheets, and a parent or guardian can download the family's records.
Hosting
Both products are hosted on Base44, which reports SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 for its platform. Those reports are Base44's. VantageIQ holds no certification of its own.

Location

Shared only with each person's agreement

Guardian does not show where someone is until that person has said yes on their own phone.

Accountability

Guardian's Account Record shows who signed in and what was opened, added, changed or deleted, so trust does not rest on memory.

Faith keeps an activity log for a church's safety team in the same spirit: what happened, when, and who handled it.

We would rather you knew these before you rely on us than after.

Neither product calls 911
They tell your own people. In an emergency, call 911 first.
Nobody is watching
There is no monitoring center. Nobody at VantageIQ watches your map or your building.
No app in the stores
Both products run in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Neither is in the App Store or Google Play today.
Not run by AI
Guardian has no AI features. Faith has one, the Safety Assistant, which helps draft plans and answer questions.
No AirTag or Tile locations
Guardian cannot read where an AirTag or a Tile is. Those stay in their makers' own apps.
Location needs each person's yes
Guardian shows a person's location only after they agree on their own phone.

Each product has its own privacy policy and terms. They say more than this page, and they are what applies.
